North American Vertical Datum of 1988

The North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88) is a geodetic reference system used for measuring elevations in North America. It replaced the older National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (NGVD 29) and provides a standardized framework for mapping and surveying projects.
