Obtuse angle
An obtuse angle is an angle of greater than 90° (π/2 radians) and less than 180° (π radians). It is bigger than an acute angle. It is smaller than a straight angle, which measures 180°. It falls in Quadrant II on a graph.

Measuring from the x-axis, angles on the unit circle count as positive in the counterclockwise direction, and negative in the clockwise direction.
