October: Ten Days That Shook the World (Russian: Октябрь (Десять дней, которые потрясли мир); translit. Oktyabr': Desyat' dney kotorye potryasli mir) is a 1928 Russian drama movie directed by Sergei Eisenstein and Grigori Aleksandrov and was based on the 1919 novel of the same name by John Reed. It stars Nikolai Popov, Vasili Nikandrov, Boris Livanov, Eduard Tisse and was distributed by First National Pictures.
