Ombretta Fumagalli Carulli

Ombretta Fumagalli Carulli (5 March 1944 – 16 March 2021) was an Italian politician, jurist, and academic.

Carulli began her political career in 1987, when she was elected to the Chamber of Deputies as a member of the Christian Democracy party.

In 1996, Carulli was elected to the Senate and joined the center-right Pole for Freedoms coalition.

In 1999, she became Undersecretary to the Ministry of the Interior. She then became Undersecretary to the Ministry of Health. She retired in 2001.

Carulli died in Milan on 16 March 2021 at the age of 77.
