The Outback Steakhouse (or simply the Outback) an American restaurant chain. The chain has an Australian theme. The chain has casual dining restaurants. It opened in February 1988 in Tampa, Florida. Almost one thousand Outback restaurants are in operation worldwide as of mid 2012.
