Ovomaltine powder

Ovaltine is a brand of milk product mixed with whey, malt and sugar. Certain flavors also have cocoa.

History

The product began in 1904. Before 2007, Ovaltine had competed against Nesquik, claiming it was better than Nesquik.

Swiss chemist and pharmacist Albert Wander (1867–1950) developed Ovomaltine in 1904.
