Painkiller (Judas Priest album)

Painkiller is the twelfth studio album by British heavy metal band, Judas Priest. Painkiller was released on 3 September 1990.

The album featured the singles "Painkiller", "A Touch of Evil", and "Night Crawler".

The album was the first to feature drummer Scott Travis who replaced Dave Holland. It was also the last album to feature Rob Halford who left the band after the tour of the album because of growing tensions within the band. Halford returned in 2003. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance at the 33rd Annual Grammy Awards in 1991 but lost to Metallica's cover of Stone Cold Crazy.[1]
