Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve
Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve is a protected marsh in San Francisco Bay. The preserve is 1,940-acre (790-hectare) in size. It is an important habitat for shorebirds and is also home to a few threatened species. These include the Ridgway's rail and the salt marsh harvest mouse.
