The Federal Parliament of Somalia (Somali: Golaha Shacabka Soomaaliya; often Baarlamaanka Federaalka Soomaaliya; Arabic: البرلمان الاتحادي في الصومال; Italian: Parlamento federale della Somalia) is the national parliament of Somalia. It was formed in August 2012. It is based in the capital Mogadishu and is bicameral. It is made up of an Upper House (Senate) and a Lower House (House of the People). The tenth Parliament of Somalia was inaugurated on 27 December 2016.[1]
