Parma, Ohio

Parma is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio in the Cuyahoga County. The population is 81,146 from the 2020 census[1] but the city's peak population was in 1970 when the population was 100,216.

Parma was named after Parma, New York and the city was largely agricultural in the 19th century. Parma grew quickly after World War II when the young families began moving from Cleveland to the suburbs and during the Cold War Parma kept Nike missiles in underground silos.

WWE wrestler The Miz was born in Parma.[2]
