Patricia Highsmith
Patricia Highsmith (previously: Mary Patricia Plangman; 19 January 1921 – 4 February 1995) was an American novelist and short story writer. She was known for psychological thrillers.
She wrote the novel The Talented Mr. Ripley in 1955. Her first book, Strangers on a Train was 1950.
