Peter Lorimer

Peter Patrick Lorimer (14 December 1946 – 20 March 2021) was a Scottish footballer. He played for Leeds United making over 500 appearances between 1962 to 1979 and again from 1983 to 1985. He also appeared twenty-one times for Scotland from 1969 to 1976. He was an attacking midfielder.[2]

On 26 February 2021, it was announced that Lorimer was put under hospice care because of a long-illness.[3][4] He died a month later on 20 March 2021, aged 74.[5]
