Philipp Semlic
Philipp Semlic (born April 21, 1983 in Vorau) is a former Austrian football player and current coach.

Career
Semlic began his career at SVH Waldbach. For the 2006/07 season he moved to USC Sonnhofen. After four seasons at Sonnhofen, he ended his career in 2010 at the age of 27.
Manager career
Semlic worked as a youth coach at TSV Hartberg from January 2010. From 2012 to 2013 he was also an assistant coach for the first team. After the 2012/13 season he left Hartberg. Semlic coached the SK Sturm Graz women's team as caretaker in September 2013. He soon e was replaced by Markus Hiden and remained as an individual coach for the Graz women. From January 2014 he was assistance coach to Roland Spreitzer at USC Sonnhofen.
In January 2015 he became the coach of the fifth-class amateurs of TSV Hartberg. For the 2016/17 season he became head coach of Hartberg's third-class first team together with Uwe Hölzl. [1] Under Semlic and Hölzl Hartberg was promoted to the 2nd league. After promotion, Semlic left Hartberger and became a coach at the SK Sturm Graz academy.
In January 2020 he became the coach of the second division club SV Lafnitz. After three and a half years, he left the club after the 2022/23 season. In autumn 2023, Semlic acquired the UEFA Pro License from the Austrian Football Association, the highest license for professional coaches.
During the 2023/24 winter break he then took over league rivals SKN St. Pölten. [2]After eleven games in office, of which the SKN was only able to win three, Semlic resigned from his position in May 2024. For the 2024/25 season, Semlic took over the Bundesliga club WSG Tirol as Thomas Silberberger's successor. [3]
