Picher, Oklahoma

Picher is a ghost town in Oklahoma in the United States. It was contaminated by mining. Picher was a city until 2009, when the government was dissolved.

The former Tri State Zinc and Lead Ore Producers Association Office was on the National Register of Historic Places, 2008. The building was destroyed by arson in April 2015.
