Pontypool
Pontypool (Welsh: Pont-y-pŵl) is a town in Torfaen, in southeast Wales. About 30,000 people live in Pontypool.

The museum is on the western side of Pontypool Park, near the Park Road entrance.*The museum occupies a converted Georgian stable block, with central courtyard, stone archway and a cobbled walkway. The museum houses a collection of local artefacts including a display of one of Pontypool's most famous products, japanware.
