Pride and Prejudice (1940 movie)
Pride and Prejudice is a 1940 American romantic drama movie directed by Robert Z. Leonard and was based on the 1813 novel of the same name by Jane Austen. It stars Greer Garson, Laurence Oliver, Mary Boland, Edna May Oliver, Maureen O'Sullivan, Edmund Gwenn, Marsha Hunt, Ann Rutherford, Melville Cooper, Frieda Inescort and was distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. It won an Academy Awards in 1941.[1]
