Princess Maria Teresa of Bourbon-Parma (28 July 1933 – 26 March 2020) was a member of a cadet branch of the Spanish royal family. She was a socialism activist. She earned the nickname "Red Princess", and a monarchist who supported the Carlist movement.

In the 1960s and 1970s, Maria Teresa supported her brother, Carlos Hugo, in his fight to make the Spanish Carlist party more liberal.[1] She was supportive of André Malraux, François Mitterrand, Yasser Arafat and Hugo Chávez.

Maria Teresa died in Paris on 26 March 2020 of COVID-19, aged 86. She is the first royal to have died from the pandemic.[2][3] Her funeral took place on 27 August 2021 at Basilica di Santa Maria della Steccata in Parma.
