Ptychohyla zophodes
The Gloomy Mountain stream frog (Ptychohyla zophodes) is a frog. It lives in Mexico. Scientists have seen it on the Atlantic side (east side) of the mountains.[3] People have seen it between 400 and 1400 meters above sea level.[1][2]

The adult male frog is about 37.4 millimetres (1.47 inches) long from nose to rear end. The adult female frog is about 43.6 millimetres (1.72 inches) long. The color of the skin on the frog's back is brown or gray. The iris of the eye is bronze with black marks.[1]
Scientists used to think this was the same frog as Ptychohyla leonhardschultzei, but it is not.[1]
