Rifle, Colorado
Rifle is a city in Garfield County, Colorado, United States. The population was 10,437 at the 2020 census.[1] The town was founded in 1882. It is located along Rifle Creek, near its mouth on the Colorado. The community takes its name from the creek.[2]

Rifle Bridge in winter on the Colorado River. The bridge, built in 1909, is now closed to traffic and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
