Rikard Wolff

Jan Rikard Wolff (8 April 1958 – 17 November 2017) was a Swedish actor and singer.[1] His career included both movie roles in House of Angels and its two sequels and theatre roles such as in Waiting for Godot at Royal Dramatic Theatre, and A Chorus Line at The Göteborg Opera. He was born in Farsta, Sweden.

Wolff provided the voice of Scar in the Swedish-dub of The Lion King. Wolff was openly gay.[2]

Wolff was made a Knight of the Legion of Honour for his work with French music. His best known song was Pojken på månen from the album of the same name.

Wolff died on 17 November 2017 in Stockholm, Sweden of emphysema at the age of 59.[3][4]
