Rob Schröder

Rob Schröder (13 November 1950 – 6 July 2024) was a Dutch graphic designer and cineast.[1]

Schröder was born in Oegstgeest and grew up in Hoorn. He started working at the Rietveld Academie from 1971. [2][3] He was co-founder of the designer collective Wild Plikken [nl] in 1974, and was co-founders of the Sandberg Institute.[4] As a writer and director for the VPRO, he was most known for his documentaries Allerzielen (2005) and Ouwehoeren (2011) and for his film Possessed (2018).[2]

Schröder died in Amsterdam on 6 July 2024, at the age of 73 from cancer.[2][1]
