Romeo and Juliet is a 1936 American movie starring Leslie Howard, John Barrymore, Edna Mae Oliver, Basil Rathbone, and Norma Shearer. It was directed by George Cukor. It is based on a play by William Shakespeare. It was nominated for four Academy Awards in 1937.[1]
