SF Weekly

SF Weekly is a weekly newspaper based in San Francisco, California. The newspaper is distributed every Thursday and it is published by the San Francisco Print Media Company.[2] It has won national journalism awards and also hosts the SF Weekly Music Awards for recognition of musicians.

History

The newspaper was founded in the late 1970s by Christopher Hildreth and Edward Bachman. It was initially named as "San Francisco Music Calendar, the Magazine or Poster Art".[3]
