Sakura Wars: The Animation

Sakura Wars: The Animation (or 新サクラ大戦 THE ANIMATION in Japan) is a TV series, it is a sequel to the 2019 game, Shin Sakura Wars.

it was animated by the studio, Sanzigen.^[1] it aired on Tokyo MX from April to June 2020 and it is currently being streamed on Crunchyroll.^[2]

Premise

The series takes place one year after the original game during the Shōwa period and it mostly follows the adventures of Sakura Amamiya and her friends.
