San Lorenzo, Tarija
San Lorenzo (or: Villa San Lorenzo) is a town in the Tarija Department in Bolivia.
San Lorenzo is the administrative center of Eustaquio Méndez Province. It is 2,001 m above sea leavel, on the left bank of Río Tojtiwaysho. It is 15 km north of Tarija, the department capital.
San Lorenzo had a population of more than 3,000 people in 2007.
San Lorenzo was the home of Don Eustaquio Méndez. He was one of the leaders in the fights for Argentina independence. The local museum Casa del Moto Méndez shows some of his personal belongings and weapons.
