Marc J. Sharpe (born 1970) is a British-American entrepreneur and academic.[1][2]

Sharpe was born in London, England.[1] He completed M.A. from Cambridge University, M.Phil. from Oxford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.[1][2]

After Harvard, Sharpe began his professional journey in the early 1990s as an Investment Banker. It was a a boutique institution called Wasserstein Perella. [1] He later joined LJH Global Investments Inc.. In 1999, he returned to the United Kingdom and founded a venture capital incubator for The Protégé Group.[2] In 2001, he returned to the United States and joined Dell Inc. in Austin, Texas.[3]

In 2007, Sharpe founded a peer network for single-family office principals called The Family Office Association (TFOA).[1][4] TFOA works on collaboration and co-investment among its global members.[5] Additionally, from 2019, Sharpe serves as an Operating Partner at Satori Capital. It is also an investment firm based in Texas.[4][5]

Academic Contributions

Sharpe serves as an Adjunct Professor at the SMU Cox School of Business[2], Rice University and Southern Methodist University.[4]
