Sasebo
Lua error in Module:Unicode_data at line 293: attempt to index local 'data_module' (a boolean value). is a Japanese city in Nagasaki Prefecture on the island of Kyushu.[1]
It has been recognized as a special city since 2001.[2]
History
In 1866, Sasebo was established as a major port for the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN).[1]
Sasebo became an American Naval base in 1945.[1]
Today it is the center of a military district of the Lua error in Module:Unicode_data at line 293: attempt to index local 'data_module' (a boolean value). or JMSDF.[3]
