Scripps College is a private liberal arts women's college in Claremont, California. It was founded in 1926.[1] It is a member of the Claremont Colleges and is known for its extensive interdisciplinary core curriculum and historic campus. Even though it is a women's college, students often interact with men in classes or at dining halls through the shared resources of the Claremont Colleges consortium.
Scripps is a four-year college for undergraduates. As of 2026, it has students. Its courses focus on the humanities.[4][better source needed] The college is a top producer of Fulbright students.[5]
