Mahmud Shabestari (1288-1340; Persian: محمود شبستریcode: fa is deprecated ) is a PersianSufipoet. He was born in the city of Tabriz. His most famous poem is called Gulshan-i Rāz (Persian: گلشن رازcode: fa is deprecated meaning "A Secret Rose Garden"). Gulshan-i Rāz is an important Sufi text.
