Smithsonite
Smithsonite is a mineral. It contains zinc carbonate, ZnCO3. It is an ore of zinc. It has a Mohs hardness (a hardness scale) of 4.5. It has a specific gravity of 4.5. Some zinc can be replaced with manganese to make manganese carbonate.[1][2]

Apple-green cuprian smithsonite crystals. A second generation of drusy smithsonite was deposited in the crevasses between the larger growth.
