Smolensk
Smolensk is a city in Russia. It is located on the Dnieper River, and 360 kilometers (220 mi) west-southwest of Moscow. It is the administrative center of Smolensk Oblast. As of 2014, the population was 330,000.
Smolensk Media
St. Michael's Church (Svirskaya) was built in 1180–1197 and is one of the few surviving structures in Russia from before the Mongol conquests.
