"So It's Come to This: A Simpsons Clip Show" is the 18th episode of The Simpsons' fourth season. It was first shown on the Fox network in the United States on April Fools' Day (April 1) in 1993. In the episode, Homer plays many practical jokes on Bart. Bart shakes a can of Homer's beer very hard. When Homer opens the can, the house explodes and puts him in a coma. The Simpson family talk about the events of Homer's life by using episodes that were shown before this one.

The idea for the 32 "D'oh!s"-in-a-row footage came from a montage in David Silverman's college show.
John Williams's theme from Raiders of the Lost Ark plays throughout the scene in which Bart steals Homer's penny jar.
