Sonic Underground is a 1999 animated television series based on the video game series by Sega. It was co-produced by DIC Entertainment and Les Studios Tex in co-production with TF1.

Premise
Sonic, Sonia and Manic are siblings and the children of Queen Aleena, ruler of Mobius. When Dr. Robotnik takes over the throne and begins ruling the world, Aleena is forced to abandon her children to protect them. When the three orphans grow up, they become freedom fighters and work to take down Robotnik and find their long lost mother.

Jaleel White, in addition to reprising his role as Sonic from DiC's previous shows, also provided the voice for the character's siblings Manic and Sonia.
Sonic Underground was originally produced to help gain interest in the Dreamcast.
