Souphanouvong

Prince Souphanouvong (13 July 1909 – 9 January 1995) was a Laotian politician. He was the first President of Laos from December 1975 to August 1991. He was nicknamed "The Red Prince". He was a founding leader of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.[1]

Souphanouvong died on 9 January 1995 at the age of 86.[2]
