It is the 13th movie in the Star Trek movie franchise and the third part in the reboot series. It stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Anton Yelchin, and Idris Elba, with Leonard Nimoy, who died in 2015, appearing in a photo.
This was one of Anton Yelchin's last movies; he died in June 2016, a month before the movie's release. The movie was dedicated to both Nimoy and Yelchin.
