Steve Bracks
Stephen Phillip Bracks AC (born 15 October 1954) is an Australian politician. He is a member of the Labor Party. He served as the 44th Premier of Victoria from 1999 to 2007. He was also the member for Williamstown in the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 1994 to 2007. Bracks briefly served as the Australian Consul-General in New York in 2013. Starting in 2021, he will be the chancellor of Victoria University.[1]
Bracks was born in Ballarat, Victoria. He has some Lebanese ancestry. He is married to Terry Horsfall and has three children.
