Streaming media
Streaming media is multimedia where the user receives the media constantly using a platform over the Internet. Some examples are Netflix and Amazon Prime Video for movies and television series; and Spotify and Apple Music for music and other audio.[1]

On websites such as YouTube, videos such as this short NASA film about spacesuit design are played instantly depending on the user's internet connection, and the video is partially downloaded in the background.
