Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (commonly known as SSBU or Ultimate) is the fifth video game in the Super Smash Bros. series. It was made by Sora Ltd. and Bandai Namco and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch video game console.

All of the characters that appeared in the first four games return in Ultimate. Ultimate also adds new characters, including Splatoon's Inklings and Metroid's Ridley. Eleven characters are currently available as downloadable content.[1]
