Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi is an action video game. It was published by JVC Musical Industries and was developed by Sculptured Software and LucasArts.[1]

The game was released on November 12, 1993 in North America, December 17, 1993 in Japan, and February 18, 1994 in Europe. It was only released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was also released for both the Game Gear and Game Boy in 1995.[2]

In the game, the player controls Luke Skywalker and they play through the events of the 1983 movie Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Some of the scenes in the game are changed from the movie and there are more characters to select from including Princess Leia and Wicket the Ewok.

It is the sequel to the 1993 game Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

Reception

The game was well liked by game critics. Critics said that they liked the graphics and the difficulty of the levels in the game. However, critics also said that they didn't like the controls or level design, saying they were repeated too much.[3][4][5][6]
