Swarthmore College
Swarthmore College (sometimes pronounced /ˈswɔːrθmɔːr/, locally pronounced /ˈswɑːθmɔːr/, or SWAHTH-mor) is a private liberal arts college in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania.[1] It was founded in 1864.[2]

Parrish Hall, named in honor of the first president, Edward Parrish (1822–1872), contains the admissions, housing and financial aid offices, along with student housing on the upper floors.
Alice Paul and David Kemp, two of the newer buildings, won the American Institute of Architects Housing Awards in 2010.
The birthplace of Benjamin West is on campus
