Swedish Hockey League
The Swedish Hockey League (SHL), Swedish: [Svenska Hockeyligan] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help) is a professional ice hockey league in the country of Sweden. It was founded in 1975 as the Swedish Elite League Swedish: [Elitserien i ishockey] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help), and is the top level of ice hockey in Sweden. The name was changed in June 2013.
