Swedish Hockey League
The Swedish Hockey League (SHL), Swedish: Svenska Hockeyligan is a professional ice hockey league in the country of Sweden. It was founded in 1975 as the Swedish Elite League Swedish: Elitserien i ishockey, and is the top level of ice hockey in Sweden. The name was changed in June 2013.
