ARKive is a template to generate links to the ARKive website. The ARKive website contains information, pictures, and video of threatened species.
Instructions
- Go to ARKive and search for the species to display.
- Click on the species link.
- The page URL should look like
http://www.arkive.org/^common-name^/^scientific-name^/
- The ^common name^ section of the URL is the first parameter.
- The ^scientific name^ section of the URL is the second parameter.
- The third parameter is optional. If it is entered, the value will be used as the name of the link. If it is not entered, the article name will be used.
- Add the following to the Other websites section:
{{ARKive|^common-name^|^scientific-name^|optional name}}
Note: Do not copy the forward slashes (/).
