This is a documentation subpage for Template:Bot.
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template should only be used for currently approved bots; if you are unsure how to request Bot Approval for your Robot, see the bot policy at Wikipedia:Bots.

Usage for this code is:

{{Userbot|Owner's username}}.

Please note that you should enter the Bot's owner's username in place of "Owner's username" as it will appear on the template - that is, without underscores; if you use a nickname, please don't enter it here - full usernames only.
