Usage

This template is used to inform WikiProjects of mass article editing under their project's scope due to a recently closed (or ongoing) contributor copyright investigation. In case you prefer to withhold information, it is possible to use this template with absolutely no parameters.

This template should always be substituted. If the template was left unsubstituted, the page will be added to the "Pages with unsubstituted CCI project notices" hidden category.

The recommended usage for this template is with the specific topic which received changes from the investigation (with topic).

Additional notes can be added in by the editor. These go from notes1, notes2, notes3, and so on. You can theoretically add as much notes as you would like, as long as MediaWiki does not time out trying to parse the module. The first three note parameters are available in the TemplateData for users using VisualEditor. More notes can be added through source.

The wording can be changed to refer to an active case using the ongoing parameter. In this case, you may wish to supply the first parameter (or {{{1}}}) with the CCI casepage.
