Template:ISO 639 name se is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code se, for example: {{Translated page |se |name of page at Sami Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Sami Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Sami Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |se}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|se| some text in Sami}} wraps the text with <span lang="se"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code se to include articles in Category:Articles containing Sami-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Sami |se}}). Also available is {{Lang-se |some text in Sami}} which displays as Northern Sami: some text in Sami.
- {{R from other language|se|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Sami-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|se}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Sami-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
