Template:ISO 639 name ti is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code ti, for example: {{Translated page |ti |name of page at Tigrinya Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Tigrinya Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Tigrinya Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |ti}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|ti| some text in Tigrinya}} wraps the text with <span lang="ti"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code ti to include articles in Category:Articles containing Tigrinya-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Tigrinya |ti}}). Also available is {{Lang-ti |some text in Tigrinya}} which displays as Tigrinya: some text in Tigrinya.
- {{R from other language|ti|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Tigrinya-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|ti}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Tigrinya-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
