Usage
Template:ISO 639 name yo is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code yo, for example: {{Translated page |yo |name of page at Yoruba Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Yoruba Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Yoruba Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |yo}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|yo| some text in Yoruba}} wraps the text with <span lang="yo"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code yo to include articles in Category:Articles containing Yoruba-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Yoruba |yo}}). Also available is {{Lang-yo |some text in Yoruba}} which displays as Yoruba: some text in Yoruba .
- {{R from other language|yo|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Yoruba-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|yo}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Yoruba-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
