Usage
Template:ISO 639 name zh-tw is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code zh-tw, for example: {{Translated page |zh-tw |name of page at Chinese (Taiwan) Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Chinese (Taiwan) Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Chinese (Taiwan) Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |zh-tw}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|zh-tw| some text in Chinese (Taiwan)}} wraps the text with <span lang="zh-tw"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code zh-tw to include articles in Category:Articles containing Chinese (Taiwan)-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Chinese (Taiwan) |zh-tw}}).
- {{R from other language|zh-tw|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Chinese (Taiwan)-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|zh-tw}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Chinese (Taiwan)-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
