Template:Multiple sports table preview/doc

< Template:Multiple sports table preview

Usage

This templates provides a preview for multiple instances of Module:Sports table on the same template page when the switch parser function is used.

  • To use the template, add all the branch names used by the switch parser function to the template's parameters (which are unnamed).
  • By default, matches are not displayed next to sports tables.
    • To display the matches for a specific table, set |matches#=yes, replacing # with the sequential number of the relevant table.
    • To display the matches for all the tables, set |matches=yes.
      • If |matches=yes is set, but you wish to hide the matches for a specific table, set |matches#=no, replacing # with the sequential number of the relevant table.
  • To add a reflist below a specific table, set |ref#=yes, replacing # with the sequential number of the relevant table.

Example

For example, if you have four group tables (named "Group A", "Group B", "Group C", and "3rd place"), and you wish to display a reflist below "Group B", and display the matches for all tables except "3rd place":

{{Multiple sports table preview|matches=yes|matches4=no|ref2=yes|Group A|Group B|Group C|3rd place}}

For an example of the template in use, see Template:UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying group tables.
