• |previous= may be left blank or omitted, in which case it is displayed as Terminus.
• |next= may be left blank or omitted, in which case it is displayed as Terminus.
• This template has three route descriptions, |route1=, |route2= and |route3=.
• This template allows the use of three route colours, |col1=, |col2= and |col3=. If all routes should be the same colour, |col= may be used instead.
  • If |col= is used in addition to any of |col1=, |col2= and |col3=, there may be unexpected results: to aid in locating these errors, the page is placed in hidden Category:Incompatible parameters in rail line template.
